Hey! I'm Steve,
A Derbyshire based wedding photographer, who loves travelling around the midlands, taking photo's which tell the story of your amazing unique weddings.
Originally from Staffordshire I now live in Coton-In-The Elms, a little village near Burton Upon Trent, just across the border in Derbyshire.
Fun fact! it is the furthest point in the UK from the sea!
I live here with my partner and a little tortoise called Sheldon!
I love the way weddings bring people together and all of the happy heartfelt moments they conjure. Your wedding day is one of life’s greatest moments and I consider it to be an absolute privilege to record it for you.
I'm not big on posing (Its awkward - I get that) and I won't take you away from your friends and family for hours. Instead I will blend in with your guests and take super relaxed, candid documentary photos. Capturing every piece of the magic as it happens.
I am very proud to have been awarded The Global Wedding awards 2023
"Best documentary Wedding Photographer (Midlands)" which is a huge honour. As well as receiving awards from Bridebook and Hitched.
Do check out my reviews page to see some wonderful kind words from my clients.
I would love the chance to capture your special day, so get in touch and lets chat!
FAQs How many pictures of my wedding will I get? For a full day package, you will receive around 500+ fully edited wedding photographs. But I can’t guarantee a number as there are many factors on a wedding day which can change this, such as the number of guests or even the weather. What area do you cover? I am a Midlands Wedding photographer, based in Staffordshire. I cover the whole of the midlands area - Shropshire, Staffordshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire , Warwickshire and the West Midlands. I can travel further afield but charge a little extra to cover travel. Are you insured? Yes I am fully covered with business and public liability insurance. What if you are ill and can’t attend our wedding day? I consider myself generally fit and healthy but the unexpected can happen. I know many great wedding photographers, and in the event of me being too ill to attend I would reach out to them for help. Worst case scenario I would refund any monies paid to date , but touch wood it never comes to that! What if your camera breaks? I have back-up cameras and lenses with me on the day. Will you back-up our pictures? Indeed, my camera saves the image straight away onto 2 memory cards, so it is instantly backed-up. As soon as I am home from your wedding the pictures are saved onto multiple hard drives and to the cloud. I store your photographs for 12 months after your wedding. Can we print our own photographs? Yes of course! I am a firm believer that pictures should be printed. You are free to print any photographs and make your own album. But in all honesty many couples who have good intentions of printing their own rarely do, as life gets in the way. I can also supply beautiful wedding albums and prints for you, making the process nice and easy for you. How do I book? When you are ready to go ahead, I require a £200 deposit to secure the booking. You will also need to complete the booking form on my website and except my terms and conditions. The balance of payment will be due 2 months before your wedding date.
