I recently had the pleasure of photographing Jade and Jame’s wonderful September wedding at The Pavilion - Branston Golf and Country Club in Burton- upon-Trent.
I have recently moved house, and now live not far from Burton. This was my first wedding as a “Local” Burton upon Trent wedding photographer, and it didn’t disappoint!

This beautiful venue can host an impressive 228 guests, with exclusive hire.

This includes The Chatsworth suite which is the main wedding room and has views of the award winning gold course. Bar, Lobby, garden room, and a wedding garden, perfect outdoor ceremonies and celebrations.
The day started with preparations at Jades family home, where I met up with Chris the videographer from Imosha wedding films who I have worked with before.

Hair and makeup done, Jade looked absolutely stunning in her dress from Brides of Ashby. It was time for a lovely emotional reveal to very proud parents and bridesmaids before moving on to the Golf Club, where I met up with James and his groomsmen for their pre-wedding photos.

After the ceremony everyone moved outside for the drinks reception in the wedding garden. Followed by confetti, group photos and couple photos. All of the guests were so lovely and happy it made the day and absolute pleasure to photograph.

Chris and I were treated to a 3 course meal during the wedding breakfast and I have to say the food was fantastic and we were well looked after by the brilliant venue staff.

After the speeches we has some time to jump into a couple of golf buggies and head down to the River Trent which flows past the golf course. As the sun was setting, the river was the perfect backdrop for couple portraits, and we worked together, taking it in turns to take photo and video of the beautiful happy couple.

Back inside the Chatsworth suite, the room had been turned around for the evening reception. Following the first dance and daddy daughter dance, we were treated to a Indie band Effigy, who banged out some fantastic songs to really get the party started!

Branston Golf Club was a fantastic venue for a beautiful wedding day. The interior and grounds are lovely. The staff are wonderfully friendly and really looked after not just the guests but suppliers too. Making it a pleasure to work there as a Wedding Photographer.
