I photographed a wedding at Dovecliff Hall Hotel this year for the first time and genuinely blown away by this fantastic venue, and for me it really has the Wow factor!
The couple who’s day I photographed here, expressed a wish that I didn’t share their photographs, but I still wanted write a short blog about this wonderful venue.

Dovecliff Hall Hotel is one of those venues which wedding photographers such as myself can’t get enough of, as we are really spoilt for choice of beautiful locations around the hotel to photograph. This exclusive use Georgian manor house, oozes old English charm. Combine that with a friendly experienced team, and food to die for, you are sure to have an unforgettable day!
The wedding ceremony I photographed was held in the Orangery, a beautiful light space looking out to the manor house grounds and beyond. There is also a choice for couples to be wed outdoors in the stunning grounds if the weather allows. Or there is also the option of the Ceremony being held in the drawing room, or the Charrington suite. (See what I mean about being spoilt for choice!)

The hotel boasts 15 recently refurbished beautiful bedrooms, all of which have king-size beds, luxury bedlinen, and stunning views of the grounds and countryside beyond. A grand staircase leads you from the bedrooms down to the hotel lobby, perfect for capturing your walk to the ceremony, or an emotional reveal to loved ones.

The hotel grounds covers 7 acres, including beautiful gardens which comprise of a large lawned area, fountain, pond, wild flower meadow, woodlands and I’m sure much more! It really is a photographers dream!

Indoors, guests can relax in the bar area, while the Charrington suite can host your wedding breakfast. And you can take my word for it, that the food at Dovecliff is incredible. The chefs use, local produce including herbs and fruits from the venue’s gardens and orchards when in season. (You can’t get much fresher than that!) All served by friendly professional staff. Orangery can then be turned from ceremony room to dance floor for the evening celebrations.

Below I have shared to venue photographs from Dovecliff Hall Hotel.
