I had the great pleasure of photographing Jemma and Jordan's amazing summer wedding at the Moat House Hotel in Acton Trussell.

A beautiful grade II listed manor house hotel in the Staffordshire Countryside, which offers a multitude of photography opportunities around its stunning grounds and interior.
The morning started with Jemma and her Bridesmaids getting ready in the library room, while Jordan and his groomsmen arrived suited and booted and ready for some pictures in the ground of the venue.

Jemma looked stunning in her dress by Wed2b as she made her way down the grand staircase to reveal her dress to a very emotional dad and bridesmaids assembled at the bottom of the stairs.

Following the ceremony, we had a confetti walk which is always great fun, followed by group pictures in-front of one of the two tranquil lakes at the venue.
The Moat House provided a stunning back drop for the couples portraits and we also had use of a rowing boat on the lake, so it had to be done! Although we had slight false start to the pictures, as the couple ended up sitting the wrong way around in the boat, which caused great belly laughs and some really fun photos.

The fun carried on through the afternoon as they had hired Adam Cooper Magic, who wowed the guests with his amazing magic tricks.

After first dance, Gemma had arranged a father and daughter dance with a twist, it started off in the traditional way, but half way through switched to “Cha Cha slide”which really got the party started, and got the guests up dancing until it was time for me to leave.

I'm so grateful to have shared Jemma & Jordan’s day at The Moat House with them and I hope you enjoy seeing some of my favourite images from their special day below.

If you are getting married at The Moat House and looking for a wedding photographer who will work in a natural, documentary fashion so you can crack on with enjoying your day. Then I'd love to hear from you!
